Canola field

Imagine a yellow meadow;
Moving like an ocean.
Something sets the canola flowers dancing.
What is it? Chinook in the summer?
The clouds add accent:
Patches of gray on the yellow.
You're sitting on an adirondack chair
In the middle of this bounty of beauty.
The air is pleasantly cool.
You are wearing a thin scarf:
Tied around your shoulders.
Your mane is running wild,
playing hide and seek with the wind.
The hair on your neck rises up too:
As if replying to a siren call.
Every cell of your skin merges into this
Yellow wave: rising and falling!
How do you feel now?
Why not feel like that, always?
